Jon Munger
Jon B. Munger is the founder and principal in the law firm of Munger & Associates, PLLC, located in Clarkston, Michigan. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Michigan, and received his J.D. from Detroit College of Law in 1996, being admitted to practice in the State of Michigan the same year. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association (Probate Committee), and the Oakland County Probate Mediation Committee.
Mr. Munger is a former senior partner with Kemp, Klein, Umphrey, Endelman & May, PLLC in Troy, Michigan, where he worked in the Estate Planning and Probate areas. He left that firm and established his own practice in 2005, and it has grown to its present size, with a staff of 10 experienced employees.
Munger & Associates handles primarily Probate Law cases – Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Guardianship and Conservatorship, Will Contests and Probate Litigation. Mr. Munger is an Oakland County Public Administrator, as a result of which he has been appointed to administer many guardianship, conservatorship and estate proceedings directly. We have extensive experience serving as Guardian, Conservator or Personal Representative, when needed, or as legal counsel for these types of fiduciaries in other cases, so we are familiar with both the legal and the practical issues facing fiduciaries. We have a full service staff of Attorneys and Legal Assistants experienced in handling any matter that may arise in the Estate Planning and Probate Court arenas. Our combined expertise comes from having handled literally thousands of probate cases, with experience in every facet and nuance of probate law that can arise. We also handle matters in areas such as divorce and family law, landlord/tenant, real estate sales and real estate litigation, and general civil litigation.
